The most wonderful summer's day made perfect by Pimms and puppies. Thank you to Masters, hunt staff and all who made it happen and of course to the Puppy Walkers whose day this really is.
Arctic and Woven carried off the prizes and there was the usual distribution of awards to numerous people who have done much to help the cause of Surrey Union hunting, silently and largely unthanked, during the course of the season. This year saw the addition of an award for, well ... cheerfulness! Very well deserved by Sam Harvey who as usual did a wonderful job with refreshments. An emotional moment too when the enormous contribution made behind the scenes by Julie Middleton was recognised. Well done all.
